She had her medical education at the University of Santo Tomas Hospital from 2004-2009 and completed her residency training at the Philippine General Hospital from 2010-2013. Treatment of general diseases of the ear, nose, & throat, such as otitis media (“luga”), ear wax removal, allergic rhinitis, rhinosinusitis with or without polyps, tonsillitis, and reflux.
HEAD & NECK TUMORS
Surgery for benign (non-cancerous) & cancerous tumors of the thyroid (thyroid nodules, papillary thyroid cancer), larynx, parotid, submandibular gland, maxillary sinus, and oral cavity (tongue, cheek, palate).
MICROVASCULAR FREE FLAP RECONSTRUCTION OF THE HEAD & NECK
Reconstruction of the defect caused by surgery after tumor removal by using tissues transferred from other parts of the body, such as the arm, leg, & thigh. Goals are to restore both form (appearance) & function after tumor surgery to retain a good quality of life.
